One thing that might help the drying no end is to get as much water out of the horsey rugs as possible before you start...
I know you said you cant tumble dry them, but if you have access to a genny you might be able to suck 90% of the moisture out of them using a VAX or similar wet n dry vacuum cleaner first...This would speed up your drying process no end.

sorry aint replied much gents ( been working :cry: :cry: :cry: )

upto now i have half made a dehumidifier type thing , using steel flexi pipe going into a stainless steel box ( botton plate cooled with a fan thats running quite happy from my solar panels :D :D :D ) and rubber hosing is feeling the still warm air back int the van ....... in the prosses of sourcing x2 fans to pull the air in and out of the contraption ( low votage so can run the from the liesure battery )

sounds like a botch but im hoping it will help

also put a huge bucket of salt ( the stuff i bought for the snow that never arrived :( ) in aswell ........
