2 stroke oil

Is there any one useing it in there diesel engines to replace the low sulpher ... if so how is your engine ???

I am halfway through my second tank with 2stroke oil in, I am finding it makes the old 2.8 a lot smoother and its now just showing a slight increase in mpg, only slightly but the offset price of the oil could negate that.
But I dont mind that as its lubing the pump and providing a better ride.

Thanks for the prompt repy ...1/3 litre to 70 litres seem to be the mix ..is that what you are useing ??
Also explaining to the local flic ..... " no sir it`s not red Diesel it`s 2 stroke mix "

I use 400ml to the 80l, its so watered down you wouldnt see the red colour anyway its chemical compounds in the red as well as the dye, but you could just leave the half bottle of 2 stroke in the boot if you wanted

Just sprung for a bottle of Asda's 2-stroke oil today too.
£5, 1l, red colour, must be the right stuff. Will see how the Bus takes it.

very interesting,would like to know if its fine in the 2.2 dti,although i cant see it being a problem......
