I have a sticky problem. by alsavs on Wed Nov 02, 2011 10:03 pm
Hi all i am open to suggestions on how to clean melted rubber.The problem i have the rubber drive bands that go from the motor to the drive mechanism which is plastic have become one sticky mess. :roll: I hope you can see the problem from the photo's.

a tin of '' freeze it'' spray from maplins and the like.. spray and then chip it off as it becomes very brittle !! :thumbup:

HI Roo and friends well the WD40 and a toothbrush did the trick.
Gazeddy its part of the drive mechanism on my jukebox and how it looks now.
