This little beauty is soon to be mine, It an 88 isuzu trooper 2.6 petrol. Its a barn find my friend jack found and stupidly told me about
It been tempting me for a bit and had a good poke around an from what we can see the chassi and sills are solid and has couple of bit needing welded on the bod. We managed to get it running although the alternator bearing is gone it idle nicely for a truck thats sat idle for two years. I plan to restore it best i can and replace the sport with it. I will use the money i got from selling my wheels n tyres to pay for it. The owner is on holiday when i was last down so will get him next time im down that way and do the deed. jack has kindly offered to let me park it at his farm. Once i get it i will start a members ride

im still on the coin flip there on that one do i offroad it or just make it look good dare say the little devil on my shoulder will choose.
£100 quid guy wants for it so it is a bargain, be definatly buying a bottle of gas for my mig. The old troopers have a solid look to them i think i had thought about renting the big shed of the farmer but its a 180 mile round trip might try get a work shop for a month only £60 a month im sure i saw and advert for

Nothing with a wash and polish cannot sort out

As for the altenator several soakings in WD40 might free it up.

it will need new belts so will strip alternator then.
