Re: Can you recommed them?Went up there a few years ago with a mate who was looking for some off road tyres for his Vitara.
They where reasonably pleasant but made it very clear they where only interested in working on Landrovers and wouldn't even bother giving him prices for the tyres he was after as it was a simple case of "we only stock landrover sizes mate and don't want to order anything else" or words to that effect so we left and havnt been back since. Looking at their web site it looks like they are now advertising that they will work on other 4x4's so perhaps the current economic climate has made them less choosy in what work they take on Depending on where your based there used to be a decent independent garage on the Silver Wing Industrial estate just off of Stafford Road between Wallington & Croydon. If you give people a rough idea of where your based they may be able to offer some recommendation of local firms for you What ever you do they PLEASE DONT EVER be tempted to use Wilsons in Epsom as like 1000's of their other customers you may find yourself seriously worse off financial and even more upset by their poor customer service and general lack of care & attention to your vehicle
Re: Can you recommed them?I'm located near Purely so if that helps.

Re: Can you recommed them?I would give them a VERY wide birth mate.
I have first hand experience of them and can tell you that none of it is good. When I was 17 I worked for them for less than two weeks before I decided enough was enough. In that time I saw numerous old fashioned "dodgy dealing" that would of made Arthur Daley blush and few incidents of major issues with vehicles being hidden from unsuspecting buyers, the final straw was a salesman who's actions where just down right dangerous and that was it for me, I walked out there and then. Several years later I joined the Police and my first nick was Epsom (was still run by the Met back then) and we would have regular calls to Wilsons regarding allegations of Criminal Damage to their premises and vehicles as well as the odd assault on the Salesman. A good 80% of those arrested for the damage where committed by disgruntled customers who felt that they'd been ripped off My understanding is that their Trading Practices haven't changed much over the last 10 yrs so be warned......
