marshalling info please

hi im interested in marshalling at motorsport events and am looking for as much info as possible regardless of how insinificant you might think it may be

i already made a contact with jools on here thanks mate and i might be attending my first trry out but would like a little info so im not a dumb newbie when i get there lol

Oh, rule number 1 - Your safety comes first (don't become part of the problem).

Another good peice of advice I was given when an incident appears in front of you is to SEA - Stop, Evaluate, Act.

You could also try the British Motorsports Marshalling Club, who are offering free trial days at various venues around the country, however I think they are rapidly filling up due to the publicity gained from the BBC coverage of the British Grand Prix where they did a section on it.
