my troop hard at work

just got this pic sent to me from tonkas first owner and thought i would share it with you guys. the pic was taken many moons ago at the down royal racecourse. at the time of the pic it was carrying two medics and a doctor. the truck would run the outside track kepping pace with the race horses along with two other trucks. the third cant be seen as it was dealing with a downed rider at the time. and yes the fronty is still going strong :dance:

yea it also worked our local offroad club [4WDNI] for many a year. one of my mates spent some time in the back of it affter he rolled his toyota trails truck in ditch lol. tonka was retired and replaced by a mitsh l200 and my other mate then bought the trooper and saved it from going off to the scrap yard. and i then bought his fronty off him [ brutus the 2.4 ] he then used the funds from the sale of the fronty to fix up the trooper which became his daily driver untill he sold it to me. so i then sold the fronty [ brutus ] and put the money back into the trooper. confused yet lol :lol:

Awesome .. I followed his thread on ITOC through his rebuild. He ceratinly put a lot of time and effort into it and it turned out loverly.

Just looking at that picture there is another Trooper in the car park behind in between yours and the Fronty

its very like it. but the one in my pic has first responce sticker below the coach line i think. its a bit hard to see. but thats not say it hasent had the stickers changed at some point. the guy is going to try and dig out some more pics for me might get lucky and see the frontys reg in one.
