Bin Offered a 2.5
Bloke at work wants to scrap his 2.5 (LWB) along with a couple of Hi-Lux (general farm clear out). It runs its rough and still in use around the farm/croft (I ain't seen it yet), what should I be looking for, ie if I see so and so, just walk away even if its free, if you catch my drift.

If you have the space, strip it and sell the parts. (Only if its that bad though)
Dont kill a 2.5 if you can save it. Just look for the same as any other vehicle really. If its running rough, it could be that its just not been serviced in ages. Check to see if the EML light is on too, possible reason for it running rough. See what its like and report back here.  Regards, Keith.

Cheers Keith, rough referred to its looks, not its engine though, this lad is a dedicated Hi-Lux fan, but heaps praise on the Frontie for going where the Hi-Lux can't.
Might need new or replacement front wings, but spares should not be to hard to get me thinks. Deffo, will report back on condition, just got to convince the Wifey that I need it  Best Nobby

Mike I will go for it, bought the lass a box of choc's and a watch she has been after this morning, as a surprise for when she gets in to night

This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered )Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you....
