Re: A nation of the industrial revolution? CarsOur budget was cut up here so no i dont agree with west minister dictating my country or country folks lives. The amount of loss scotland has as a result of the UK goverment over the years no thanks fed up seen my country raped time after time . I happy with a scottish governmet an scottish laws and ways and happy to speak a scottish dilect not a corrected english one (no offence). I believe in scotland and its government i dont believe in the govermnet down south who have little regard for us other than the extra revenue

Re: A nation of the industrial revolution? CarsI dont know the solution or the cause an like many scots there is a bitter ness towards the tories after the poll tax an the ship yards . i agree with the strikes bit it killed the jobs for themselves. In england i found the rate of pay higher the further south i went up north england it was like a waste ground of ex industry from sheffield an middlebourgh even in birmnham, i was lucky enough to land in northhampton and unlucky at same time. i left because there was nothing scotland no work an glasgow was fully of negative people who shrugged their shoulders. i was down south for a few years before returning home to scotland where again i saw nothing had changed . Over the last two years i see alot of for let or for sale signs in the cituy centers or main streest why
Supermarkets an shopping malls are killing the main streets of towns an high streets of villages. HOuses are been built furhter away from the city into wee segrated comunities of comuters that have thier own super market an loyds the chemist an pub/restraunts. The uk in a whole is changed comuity spirit is gone , unit together is gone an to be honest it now a see no eveil speak no evil society that seems to think its some one elses problem . Govenment aside it is US the citizens of the UK that allowed this to happen us thay dont vote an us that voted badly and we all cashed in when the going was good. I like england and have nothing against the english (its not you fault 1989 Isuzu Trooper 2.6 (3.1 conversion )
