Ive had, in the past, a 2.3 LWB, 2.0i Sport S, a 2.5 TD Transglobe LWB. So 3 fronties. Actually 4 but i never got the other one running
However, after an eventful couple of years im a couple of weeks away from buying another one. But here's the problem.
Which one?
Im genuinely having bad dreams and stuff......you get the picture.
So here is my criteria:
Daily driver, used to travel to work and back, so gets a decent 40 mile run on motorway each day.
Will pull a small ish 1200 kgs caravan once a month roughly 80 miles.
There is only me and my son, so dont need a LWB, but should i?
Which engine/model? Seen a load of sports, A and B series. Petrol or diesel? My old 2.0i Sport S pulled a heavier caravan and didnt falter with 4 of us in it, easy to fix by myself. Diesel makes sense fuel wise, but is it false economy with price of fuel now against petrol and cost of parts if things go bang?
Keep looking at the B series 2.2 petrol Sport RS, few about, nice machine and i like em
But what do i do, oil or petrol, LWB or SWB, A or B?
HEELLLLPPPPPPPPP.....................
Forgot to say i'll have around £1200 quid to spend.
