FP are not out to rip you off as you pay less you have less benefits, but you get other benefits as well, hence modifications and green lane cover, its difficult to get a policy to suit everyone and the insurer so this type of policy may not be for you.
I could certainly cope loosing my NCD for saving £300 a year as half the time new customers to insurers get a better deal anyway
