Bad luck

since sataday morning ive had some really bad luck,

The wife left me and our 7 week old daughter..................Then came back :lol:

I decided to replace the lift pump on my fronty..........wrong one

Found a oil leak while i was under there

bleeding the fuel system .............starter motor gave up [£110.95 trade] ouch

Diecided nothing else could possibly go wrong filled the fronty up with diesel and the seal round the sender unit gave up and ive now got about 20 ltrs of diesel over my drive :axe:

O also found a nice big hole in the exhaust

Right im off to get a gallon of petrol and to find a very tall cliff

Ahhhhh the joys of Fronty ownership :lol:

That is a bad run. I think I know of a 2.3 near me in a scrappy. I can go have a butchers at the weekend if you want.

Ratcav if your going to the scrappy mate Could you have a look for a lift pump mate it sits just above the oil pump under the alternator, Held on with 2, 13mm nuts, I cant seem to get one anywhere.

I will try vx for the seal [for all the good it will do :lol:

] taking the fuel tank out to get to it seems like a lot of work for a second hand one
