If they were going to do all that work for £400 i would have it done mate as just doing the oil seal would cost nearly that!!! They would probably need to put in a new clutch asswell.

Shouldnt fail on the crank oil seal unless the oil is pouring out, usually at most with a small leak its an advise.
What is wrong with the lights and caliper ?

I had mine MOT,with a blow crank seal,and mine was pouring out and it past

oil leak is not a failure. But tester can refuse to test it if it's pouring out, but it would have to be really bad. I work as an mot tester, whats the actually wording on the failure sheet

its bad pouring out back calliper sticking on and brake lines rusted

done the calliper
brake line in question i cant see any leaks why it would fail

forgot to take hid out so it failed on them
