Those of us who vote, wherever we are,according to all the rules, are not actually voting for a "LEADER" , almost everywhere, we are voting for a "Spokesman" ; someone to represent our needs.
Obviously not just voting for someone who professes to be able to represent our most outrageous wants.
So...
The big question is how do we remind ourselves and others that it is us they are meant to be looking after, and not big business and corporate giants?
We employ the policemen, firemen etc. not the Government.
Their job is to run it, not pop round for a photo shoot and a free lunch at our expense.
Let's swap Westminster's occupants and staff with those of Dartmoor prison.
Did I mention staff?
