Son of Bobbinsjob BMX Champion needs a sponsor

Some of you may know that my 7 tear old son, Callum races BMX's in the East of England League. He is just coming to the end of his 1st season and has done tremendously well. In the last 3 rounds he has come 2nd, 1st and 2nd. In the round that he came 1st, he won every race of the day in his age group and is one of the youngest. Today, in Braintree, there were no other riders in his age group so he was put into the 10yrs and under and still came 2nd.

Next year, he will progress to the Expert level.
It costs quite a bit to keep him competing, what with the original cost of the bike (£600), parts that get damaged during racing and general wear and tear, race entry fees and most of all, travelling costs to race meetings all over the country. I am his pitcrew, mechanic, driver, chef and dogsbody all in one :lol:

If anyone has a business that would like to sponsor him in any way, your company livery would be advertised on his race wear and or bike, bearing in mind that he is an up and coming star and possibly a british champion in the making, leading to nationwide media exposure.

Ian, just an idea, but the top pic in your post looks like it was done a photography firm. Get in touch with the photographers who work the BMX circuits, and i'm sure one of them will sponsor him. the big event photographers like it when other photographers have to take a picture of their logo :lol:

I used to know a former British Champion. He ended up in America and racing over there.

erm have you asked fog

I dont think that would be fair to the members mate as FOG funds should be spent on fog, not just one member, especially a mod...wouldnt look good at all

I always take the truck to the race meets, so we get plenty coverage as it turns a few heads

Will have a word at work regarding sponsoring the Bobbinsprog.... dont know what they will say, but I'll ask the question...(and run!)...

Have you tried asking Durex Ian...as one of their best customers, and it would carry a certain irony.... :lol:
