my clutch i think is away on disco

easy bulkhead flexing or dirty clutch fluid

the bulkhead probably needs welding

First as Steve said bleed the system, then check under the clutch pedal you will see a rod that goes through the bulk head, on the pedal end off this you will see a bolt this is adjustable and has another nut on that is lockable, this alters the pedal hieght. :wink:

i have bleed the sytem and fixed it a bit but i think air is getting in through the slave cilender ? we should have a speel check on this lol :lol:

i have the same thing on my Frontera Sport A 2.8tdi but its slightly better if i pump the pedal?
does this suggest fluid to you all? and maybe slave/master cylinder? iv never touched a hydraulic clutch before so any help appreciated! i used to be an SJ man! before i saw the light
this is very embarassing iv come to check the resevoir to find its as good as empty, could this mean fluid is escaping somewhere? the clutch feels much better after putting more fluid in but its still not right

It may have a leak so keep an eye on it, it will need bleeding too.

Dave if its a Disco best solution is take it to breakers and then buy yourself a Frontera!!!!!!!!!!!!!
