Well today i went to drop my daughter to pre school and could here a high pitch whistle every time i booted it
This was the first time i had driven it since i fitted the de cat pipe and cleaned out all the pipes, intercooler and full service. I was expecting a little mph after doing all those jobs but it felt slower than my old 2.0
The panic began so i got in my work clothes and started to investigate the problem checking the obvious things like intercooler pipes and exhaust for leaks but found nothing 
Then my beautiful wife came along and said the noise sounds like its coming from the snorkel
So i pulled off the snorkel top that i fitted the day before with silicone to find that i had used to much silicone and there was a hole the size of a 2p cone at the top of the snorkel pipe and it was only sucking through that 
I then sorted out the problem and went for another drive lets just say it put a
on my face as it pulled very strong If you have a 2.8 i would highly recommend de catting it as the difference with my truck is amazing revving alot free er
I then went down to a car park near me to check the articulation on the back off my truck as i fitted +2 spacers and some new rough country shocks that was meant to be +2 but when measuring them next to my old shocks they was more like +3 but my old shocks was badly worn.

I still had more travel in the shocks on those pitchers and i am a bit worried about losing a coil spring.
