Re: bio fuelI would try a bit of the old reverse psychology matey....
When you are viewing the car, drop into the conversation that your "mate" runs his diesel 4x4 on bio fuel and saves a fortune, so its something you are thinking of doing to save a few quid...if the seller has used bio in it, they will probably then tell you as they think it will clinch the sale, and brag about how much they saved... Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon! Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again... She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body... Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer! MAKE IT or BREAK IT! TEAMXTREME4X4 ![]()
Re: bio fuelIf his house is surrounded by unfinished projects and half built windmills and all that sort of stuff, then probably yes.
I'm very ecologist, I breed organic sheep and sell direct, but the yard is clean and tidy (ish). I wouldn't put Bio fuel in my Fronty 'cos it can't take it. I'd use it in the old Someca tractors if I could find a reliable supplier as the pump is oil lubricated., but this is rural France and there's nobody. In winter we run them on 30% petrol to stop it waxing. Best of luck with your search.....if she feels right on the test drive, she's for you....just go with your gut instinct. If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.
Re: bio fuelYou should smell it at the exhaust end, or sniff the cap see if it smells of diesel, the only real way is looking in the fuel filter, but doubt you could get away with that.
