jury service

Just got citation this morning to attend court for jury service
in two weeks time, has anybody done jury service just wanted
to know what it was like and what to expect.
Was suprised though as i havent been squeaky clean when
i was a younger nowt too bad though :wink:

Expect to be sat around for a long time waiting for stuff to happen.

If your not called you normally get of early and can go home.

Take a good book with you, for all the times your not in court.

In Scotland you dont normally sit around all that long Ash.
Ive done it twice and got picked both times, even did the foreman job the last time.
They keep you right, dont worry about it, just listen to your instructions. Its easy enough mate.
Also, you dont have to be squeaky clean to be on a dury.

I just got the initial form in too last week, sent it back and waiting to see if I get a citation through now.

First time for me too, I had a record when I was younger, didn't think I'd ever get called.

abit different up here there are 15 members on the
jury anyway thanks again.oh keith thought you were
a tad too old age limit is 65 :lol:

good news i dont have to attend jury service got boss
to write a letter saying he couldnt afford me to have time off
work due to the economic downturn and it worked

wouldnt trust you anyway bud

Jammy sod, I was told to take loads of pro plus as you would be board to death,then again caffeine is a diuretic and I would need the loo every 5 mins, reckon contempt of court would be my outcome :lol:
