Newbie needs advice please.

Hi guys I have just bought my first Frontera it's a 2.2 ecotec n reg lwb with a blown head gasket!
There are a few things I'm not sure about like how do I lock the rear window as the door locks but the button still opens the glass?
Also can I get a new key & immobiliser fob made up from the key I have? (It's not a red key or anything) I'm not sure if the immobiliser is a vuaxhall one though.

hi mate is it a remote fob ? if yes vx will supply a new fob with cut key for £100ish if you have the key number & 4 digit security code

if you dont have them then they charge £25 each to search them for you :shock:

cant help with the rear hatch i just thought it locked with the rear door, ill try mine tomorrow :wink:

Hiya on my old 2.2 I used to have to lock rear glass using the lock on the tail gate

No remote control key fob just the key with a seperate immobilizer fob, is this a standard Frontera thing or a after market one?
Also tried the tailgate lock but the window still opens when you push the button any ideas?

The window seems ok now, I probably didn't have it locked as it's the first time I've seen the car in day light 4 days after I bought it!
but I still need to know where to get another immobiliser fob from.
