mu canopy

morning all i like the look of the rear canopy on the mu woul one of these fit the fronty sport or is the roll bar in the way i no were ther is one for breaking ,thought it would look ...........pete

Soft top should fit, wasnt aware the MU was convertible though?

It should fit....but may need minor fettling....(tailgate seams seem to vary a bit on swb fronty's so wouldnt suprise me if there are minor differences on an MU...nothing to worry about though..easy fix)
The rear bar isnt a roll bar matey...its just a seat belt support as the rear belts cant be fixed to the plastic lid...they aint really strong enough or braced sufficiently to be a roll bar!!
The bar shouldnt be a problem as I think the MU had one too....but not 100% mind...

The A series SWB was based on the MU the LWB was based on the Wizard.

Most things are interchangeable, though the running gear was Trooper and when GM got the patten for VX to use minor alterations where made like not using the correct engines though the chassis are 110% stronger.
Interiors are very different.
Still never or cant remember seeing a convertible MU though.

I think he might mean the smooth painted rear hardtop as canopy dwifty.....

No one in their right mind would be contemplating fitting a leaky drafty rag-top after the weather we have had this week!!!

I have seen isuzu shorties with ragtops before though....see below
