New Chassis

Fun and excitement today, took my completed chassis to the galvenisers today, cant wait to pick it up on tuesday. Took me 2 days to get it ready after the welding was finished. No accidents this time except for the minor burns to the tee shirt.

We need pictures of this, was it expensive?

I'll post them as soon as I get it back, It is pretty dear though, it's costing me nearly £400 but just think, no rust, ever.

Are medway galvanizing doing it for you?

We must catch up at some point seeing as we are so near,
that is if we dont get blown away first (will be mainly putting fences back up tommorow

Currently watching daughter trying to nail her horse down to stop it blowing away! Just behind island scaffolding. Yes they are the closest, also done a lot of powder coating for other projects ive done.

howz my old mate Alan Hills...havent seen him in a while, he used to own that yard there, but moved to devon, but still has loads of "useful stuff" there...nearly bought that desert sand bedford MK off him, the one with the hiab on it...

Must admit I ended up with a Fronty by accident, daughter had horse in stables but had to be moved, so dream of sports car turned into reality of 4 x 4, ended up with 2.2 RS sport in pretty good nick, fell in love with it. Much better than Land Rover! So easy to work on. What is with the rust on the front edge of the bonnet though? Strange place to go. Still with the price of parts and the cost of doners being pretty cheap I thought id do a full custom job. Not sure exactly what yet but its SWB.

Alans ok, saw him a little while ago when he dropped off a tractor to mow the fields. Yuo could have a good go at scrapheap challenge in that yard though.
