Anyone local good at welding?

Hi there my door has been dropping and on closer inspection i think the captive nut behind the A pillar is pulling through.So i think the only solution is to weld the hinge on the pillar with the door shut.I remember this happening to my grandads fronty aswell.Is this a common problem?Would be gratefull for any advice cheers Adrian

Not sure how you would weld the hinge on with the door shut.You may have to have it open but pushed up with a jack to thw right height to gain access to the hinge and post to weld it.

Was thinking of taking the wing off.Then weld the hinge to the A pillar.Was wondering if this was a common frontera problem the nut pulling through the pillar?Cheers Adrian
