V6 Exhausts - where do you get them

Does anybody know of a distributor for exhaust parts that will fit the late v6 Fronty . Had some ridiculous quotes for stainless steel that made me fall of my chair . I keep getting told main dealer only but I aint that rich and its only the centre box thats gone so far.
Also as I am in East Anglia there are hardly any fabricators around here so they are charging premium rates !!! gits !! :cry:

i was quoted £400 for the centre box alone on mine [again i was told locally dealer part only ] although ive seen them a lot cheaper on the net but i managed to get mine plated & had a new flexi section fitted , cant you get yours welded up or bodged at least untill you can source a cheaper part or untill you can afford a nice new shiney custom s/s system to be fitted ?

I was looking earlier this year for mine, the cheapest I found availale for a standard exhaust was actually a VX dealer, mainly because all the other places said they had to buy it from the main dealer before fitting it. I was quoted over £700 for cat back as the cheaest, but manaed to get a performance exhaust for about £450 fully fitted. Was well worth the money as well

Had a nice chat with a chap who deals in Powerflow - reckons he can do it for £400 from the cats back including the Y pipe , still a lot of dough but needs must and its all shiny !!!

Just out of curiosity - where did you go for that ?
