Re: its up againi was reading in the local paper the other day that there was oil tankerships sitting just outside the docks waiting to see who would give em the highest price because of the low cost of a barrel of oil . its just robbery . they know we need petrol so they just charge what they like . how much will we be paying this time next month 109.9 a litre

Re: its up againInterestingly enough, my local Asda's are still at 99.9p for Diesel, all 3 of em.... And that's with petrol at 98.9 too
One wonders if they're trying to keep prices below £1/litre for as long as possible so as to get people in to do their weekly shop. I mean, for every extra punter that comes in and spends £60 or more buying the groceries, the profits on that must be worth taking a pound or so's hit on the fuel. It sort of works on me, at anyrate. Re: its up againI wish the price included road tax,
Petrol prices have been going up for ages, nothing on the telly being reported, its ok if you are rich then you can afford to do wot you like, and oh the transport industry how they will suffer, unless you come from over seas, dont want to get on that 1
Re: its up againWhat i do not get is where i live there are tesco`s within reasonable distance both have petrol yet charge different prices. The highest is Esso at 99p. Shell at 97.8p think and the somerfield next to it is 96.9p. There is asda within a 10mile raduis that have different prices. it seem any more than 2mile and the price differs
