my error the truck hasn't been broken into..... my toolbox my gear oil and my neons were under the window but for some strange reason they only took the tools :shock:

One night I was out on a job late and had the astra parked on the pavement and became aware of two teenage boys hanging around .They didn't see me until I stood up and they then scarpered.At first I thought it was the car they were thinking of taking but I think they were checking the back for tools. Trouble is they could run a lot faster than me I wouldnt be able to catch anyone these days.

I dont think there are many places that are immune to random theft, even when my Mum had a cottage near Llanberis the nearest cottage was 400 yards away about 3 cars a day past and some git still stole the milk and her hubby's chain saw went west after he put it down near the gate, that was 60 yards from the cottage while he got a cuppa, 15 mins he went back and it was gone. lesson learnt

i wont even leave a nut and bolt unattended
