Brit Cops tonight

Anyone see it on Virgin 1? It follows the adventures of Powys police force. Had a section on combatting illegal offroaders up on the moorland, not sure of the exact location. they seemed to be using an unmarked defender and also a helicopter and caught five vehicles playing well off piste on open moorland. A couple of defenders got done straight away as one was stuck, a white disco legged it. There was also one idiot in a pickup Daihatsu that drove off before coming back "taunting" the cops by driving around and ripping the moorland to bits. They then brought the helicopter in and he gave up, a section 59 followed. The whole piece did nothing for the image of offroading or greenlaning, and what worries me is that to the casual observer who then goes walking next weekend and comes accross legitimate laners, will also tar them with the same brush. What can we do as individuals, or as a club to promote greenlaning as a whole I wonder. It seems we are forever getting bad press and its a shame we can't combat it with some propaganda of our own. off to bed feeling a bit low after that.

I would have loved to had taken him out cliff climbing in my old swb fourtrak, he would have sh*t himself.

i seen it the other day i agree wt a tart wts point in pissin ppl off giveing ppl who pay to do that a bad name i guess the onlything every one can do is just no act dodgy i went greenlanding for 1st time today.as i was leaveing this guy n a disco very nice looking have to admit big 37" tyres went tearing up road weaveing to get the dirt out his tred worse thing was no flares or lips went kiking up right past a coppa down road he got pulled n i got pulled over couse he thought i was with him :S i probs told u something u dnt wonna know but all im saying is let others look the dickheads as long as u do it right how cn frontie drivers get a bad name he he he also i was the only one there today only got stuck onec ha ha ha
