i've always fancied mounting my cb between the front seats, but as the fronty was a early one it didnt come with a console between the seats so thanks to nifty i got one last year. so had a fiddle today only taken a few mins to do but gives me some thing thats easy to remove and also some extra power points .

it will be easy enough to remove for safe storage and it means i can keep the spare wired up in the dash and just connect the arial if any problems gonna put a plug under the console with a main switch and run the cables to the battery with fuse of course it may work it may not but i'll try.

it's being stored. starting to put the interior back and sort al the little jobs out next week when i get the use of my dads garage

i've got the same one mounted the switch pod on top of my clocks and the socket unit to the side of centre console, put it in 2 weeks ago paid £1 from halfords nothing wrong with it in the bargain bin

i've had it for ages forgot it was in the shed and it gives me four switched power points dont think there any good for high drain but it good for what i want.
shouldn't get wet roo it sits in the center between the seats where the cassets should have gone and if theres water there i'm in trouble :lol:

stuck th cb in the fronty today clears the seats great and means the dasboard stays unclutterd. will mount another mic clip so because its hard to reach when cliped to the side.
