can any one tell me what problems i might encounter if i change my 2.o ltr engine for a 2.2ltr engine

Depends on which 2.0 and which 2.2 it is.

Generally the 2.2 petrol should be a straight swap for a later model 2.0 petrol provided you have the ecu for the engine as well.

I think the clutch plates might be different.
