Did Any One Else Hear this please?

I'm sure I heard on the radio as I was driving into town,the other day, that the Government as from March I believe it was, are going to vet each and every email that is sent by the Public, as they think this will stop terrorists etc ( The mind just boggles! on how they will keep up with reading all those millions & millions of emails sent each day :roll:

Didn't think they would be allowed to do that, as with Private and Confidentiality Issues

they will probably do it the same way they monitor our phone calls there will be certain key and code words and sentences tht computers at GCHQ in london will look out for a mate of mine works for an office installations firm and he put alot of stuff in there last year and he told me a few things he had seen it sounded very impressive

They aren't vetting the e-mails, just keeping a trace of them - i.e. time, date, address, IP - but not the content (at the moment)

Australia blew the whistle on the discrete interception and monitoring of all phone calls, texts and emails a few years back. They all get filtered for red flags, so post a few texts with thermonuclear warheads or Jihad in them and you may get a knock at the door........... did I say that aloud???? :oops:

is that about jihad bombs terrosim and the president smuggling and things like that. never heard athing

if the government says it is going to do something like that, it means they have been doing it for ages. I could tell you more but I'd have to shread you :wink:
