enquired online with 247spares.co.uk the other day for an oil pump for my 1993/94 2.3td first couple of quotes i got were reasonable in the region of £80 to £120 p+p included then i got an email off a company called LVM ltd now bearing in mind all the quotes were for USED pumps this company took te preverbial and are asking £805.00 thats including VAT and delivery with a 90 day guarantee

dont for get the 2.4 up to 95 has the same pump
flying solo, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Allrite mate the last time i went to clwyd breakers (wrexham) they had 2.4 petrol and im pretty sure a 2.3 td in . tel 01978 821115 hope this helps

Right finally got the plate off the oil pump today amzing what a chisle can do :lol: :lol: problem is now everyone on here including andysd1 said that there is no way the pickup in the sump can be the problem but i have taken the gears out of the pump and checked them against the new ones and there is NO difference no excessive wear on the plate or the gears they all have teeth still....... WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????? i'm really confused please can some one help??? any ideas????
