Any ideas what this could be chaps?
When the truck has been left parked up for a few hours, when i get back in there is a smell of old gear oil but it goes as soon as i pull off. I've looked underneath but no fluid leaks and nowt spilt in the truck

1 dont park, 2 put a peg on you nose, as above check seal round gearstick, flying solo, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Re: Smell of gear oilOnly other thing that comes to mind is a leaking wheel bearing seal allowing oil onto the brakes. Smell would go away when driving.
