Information Display variety ?

Hi

We've just bought an '03 2.2 DTi Olympus 5dr. We used to have a Picasso, and looking at the display, my wife is missing the warning messages about the doors etc(!) and the fuel consumption info.

Looking at our User Manual, it appears to be the Triple Info Display that we've got, although confusingly it displays the outside temp at the top, not the bottom, as in all the illustrations. We don't have the S/R buttons on the end of the steering wheel stalk.

Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade/retrofit to the Multi-Information display, and what's involved as well as the cost ?

Hi, I also have a picasso and the display is quite funky

Im sure Ive read that the newer models can be upgraded but the ECU has to be programmed into showing the information.

One of the guys with the newer B series will be along with more info soon :wink:

Yes, it can be upgraded, it requires a new screen, new stalk and reprogramming of the ECU to do all the necessary checks and show the right info. No idea on cost as the one time I looked at doing it (for an 04 Corsa) VX started talking into the 4 figure range for parts alone
