why dont we plant are own few trees, some at the wayfare would be nice, we could even plant one in the name of turbo,

We cant do anything there as we dont own the land also its SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest )

We all ought to be planting trees. To my shame I've never planted one.There is a volunteer system locally to me with Stour Valley Countryside Commision and they all meet up on a Sunday morning to plant native British hedges.
I was yold that oaks are good to plant as they are the best for insect life followed by hawthorn.I have a small garden/ yard at my workshop and have been thinking about planting trees along one side.Lovely idea. Theres a nice book called 'The man who planted trees' which I read some years ago.
