I just paid £900 for this Frontera, the clutch pedal is biting a bit high, I presume sign's of a clutch nearing the end of it's life, and the seat belt warning light is on. Both I consider to be easily fixable, even the clutch as I do very minimal miles anyway, but otherwise it's very sound and a lovely drive. All the electrics work, the tyres are good, very good in fact. I know it's not exactly a bargain but I suppose you can't expect much from a car under a grand!
I like it anyway!

that is a bargain, as for the warning light, under the drivers seat is a connectoer block for the airbags, push it together tightly and cable tie, it is a common fault that costs nowt to repair
