That looks just about ok - looks original and complete.
My 2.8TDi Estate used to get between 28-34mpg before the roof rack went on, so I guess the Sport (lighter) should comfortably return similar.

Don't look to bad. Steering box, if they are all the same, will probably just need the adjuster tweaking. As for mpg I get between 28 to 31 ish. Thats on 31" muds and working the car on and off road with abit of towing, which I think is pretty good. Have a look, he seems to be open to offers so there is a chance to get it cheaper. I paid 950 for mine N reg, years tax, new tyres etc etc.

Looks ok, a late reg one to 
Steering box as said can be tightened, but it could need an idler pivot, cost around £30 new, bargain it a tad because of the short MOT.

The one on ebay looks good for the money, the 2.8's hold the value well.
