Engine dead what do i do????????

After a drive back from playing today ive killed my engine

So what di i do i would like to put a 2.8 diesel in but how hard is it also is there much modifying needed any one have any info as would love to do it.
Also my other option is to buy another petol and it will drop straight in, more problems is sourceing an engine also the money issue and the time issue,

If anyone can give any help or ideas it would be greatly accepted im a little bit annoyed as i love me motor and now i cant use it......................... what do i do ?????????????????/

If you can't find a 2.8 sport ....look out for another engine the same ....don't forget the ecu with it :wink:

Also don't forget you need a X20NE engine, NOT the earlier 2.0 ltr C20NE engine. Some scrap yards don't have a clue regarding which engine is which. There is a slight difference on a few things on the wiring loom too, and I think the ECU on the later X20NE engine is linked to the immobiliser.

wouldnt a cavalier engine do, a lad at work is selling a cavalier cdx 2.0 16v ecotec for £300 with 64k on the clock taxed and tested, i was considering it as a doner for mine but i think my engine is the best part on the truck

I think Andy's immobiliser would cause problems.

i noiw have a new car an isuzu trooper 3.1 turbo snorkle and lifted ill put some piccys on soon and dont know what to do with the fronty might break it if i can make enough back!!
