The shims pull the top arm inwards, towards the centre of the vehicle. Not push it outwards, They pull the axis point inwards.

The shims go behind the fulcrum then drag that back thus bringing the top of the wheel in straightening it up and restoring camber

Tis as Drift says,we added shims to top arm,this caused his wheels to go from negative to vertical.

Doesnt bother me as my local VX place is gonna shim and align the whole front end for £30+VAT

Its hard to find a flat surface in wales to check it yaself.

Although Ifitted the BJ spacers today and noticed that on full travel my wheels were like /--\ instead of \--/ at rest.

I reckon 5mm to 10mm shims should do the trick.

Kylie, they offered me a car for the day as Im getting a couple of other things looked at while Im there. I dont know whats up with that considering they took so long with yours and didnt offer you alternative transport.

The standard shims are 3mm and I think 1mm in sizes, best start low and work up, though we went straight in with 3mm and it worked a treat. but remember to flex the suspension before measuring as it will look the same otherwise.

Thay have all kinds of Shims, tall ones, skinny ones, fat ones, ones that look like girls and ones that still look like boys.

When Frontera was first out, they had a tendancy to pull to the left all the time, its probable that castor/camber was altered during the warranty period to try to rectify the problem......some were b****y awful
