it it really worth doing it

i know my truck will never be a stunner but i've jyst spent part of the day cleaning all the inside. So am i mad after all this is a car thats going to be used off road is hoovering it out and wipein everything down so it's shiny again really worth doing when it's just going to get muddy and dusty again. my opinion yes because it's my car and i feel better drivin a car with a clean interior and it's used in between off roading. just wondering about other peoples thoughts

Yep, good to give 'em a clean and tidy, its the best way to notice things that might need doing or fixing. Moving parts, whether inside or out, caked in crud wear out faster, besides, if you don't clean it how can you tell how dirty you have got it :lol:

i say bag your dirt and sell on ebay

One of my beginners laning day tips is to was and wax the car before you go laning - that way, on your return, the car is much easier to clean as any dirt does not stick as well to a polished paint finish.

It's also a chance to go over the body work with a fine tooth comb and spot those bits of corrosion that might need some attention.

Mine has a external wash when SWMBO is passenger (saves getting her clothes dirty) :wink:

Interior is kept clean & tidy (it is more plesant to sit in a clean environment) ask Red Oktober :lol:

even my truck is clean on the inside at the mo ....... :lol:

as much as i like to get the out side muddy the wife moans if the inside gets dirty, plus it makes your cloths dirty when you go out unfornatly it can be hard to get it clean after a p&p

thats good i know i nat mad now authough i have the family car too i still love driving the fronty and regular pick people up on the way to work and a wear white top to work in so i try really hard to kep the interior clean a vax is a great investment and people comment that my car smells nice inside.

Try to keep mine resonably clean inside and out (passenger areas), but having 2 black labs I some times find there is more mud on the inside than out :mrgreen:

evry couple of weeks, Angelina gets a pamper day apart from the engine bay so when i pop the lid people go, "Jees, how deep did you go? :shock:

The outside of mine gets a wash under and out everytime weve been out. But struggle to justify the time for a clean inside, unless the nipper decides to do it while I work outside
