Driveshaft spacers

just one of them out of the blue thoughts. If you use a spacer to push the rear axle back after a lift, what dot the trailing arms do? or do they need lengthening as well.

Seems odd to do one and not he other.

I thought the spacer, if needed was to correct/compensate for the angle of the prop ( if thats what you mean? )

That makes sense, but the relationship between the trailing arms will be different wont it? Also the one above the diff. Extending one without the other seems a little unsafe. Hence the questions.

I see what you mean, Trugga may know if the calmini kit comes with those bits, or Manny for that matter, but if your just moving up it may just be a case of the rake on the bars being increased

See what I mean, as one they will rotate down and appear to come closer to the front wheels, is there movement in the arms? Maybe as extending them is fairly easy they expect you to DIY?

I've not heard of a spacer being fitted.

When mine was done by Specialist Leisure, they did check a number of things (including the prop rear yoke) and determined no other mods were required (the 2.8 LWB having a single piece rear prop)

Thinking about it, the space should only be needed if you are doing a trooper 2.8 conversion, I think

On the 'B' I believe the N/S arm needs to be replaced for one longer with a slight bend in it to clear the fuel tank
