Thinking about buying a Frontera.?

I am thinking about purchasing a 1998 LWB Frontera (2.5 Diesel) that has 91K recorded mileage. Its MOTd and appears to drive fine. Are there any particular items I need to consider before I close a deal....and what is the right price to offer on it ? Any advice would be much appeciated..Thanks.
