Approach and depature angles

Having managed to raise the ride height of the Sport yesterday evening, with the exceptional help and enthusiasm of A friend, I decided to measure the approach and departure angles.

Front = 45º
Rear = 45º

Also, there is just about 24" of clearance under the rear most crossmember and the front winch roller fairlead clearance is also close to 24" clear.

If the weather improves for tomorrow evening, I'll take a comparison photo with the BBB, nose to nose and rear to rear.

I just want to know if it went under the garage door. :shock:

I got in a bit late this evening, so haven't yet tried it.

Also, I didn't want to accidentally knock the door of its runners gain - it'd be a bit awkward to fix it in the dark.

Maybe the weekend, when I can fettle with the garage door.

What is regarded as a "good" angle for non competitive off roading and, pray tell Lawrence

Does anyone kmow off the top of the head what is angle before a fronty rolls over on it's side while we are on about angles.

3 door hard top
Left side 40 degrees
Right side 44 degrees

5 door
left 44 degrees
Right 42 degrees

Without nudge bar all models 41 degrees

Departure angle without tow bar 3 door hard top and five door 29 degrees
Soft top 28 degrees

Ramp angle soft top and 3 door hard top 25 degrees LWB 22 Degrees
