At least you have plenty of clearance
I put her on axle stands behind the front wheels on the chassis, then remove front wheels, undo 4 bolts holding bottom ball joints on and pivot the hub off the shaft (having removed all auto/manual hub stuff).
This leaves just the 4 big bolts holding axle up, undo with bloomin big bar on breaker. Unlikely it will pivot out nicely so its best to drop the 4 bolts each side holding the mounts and split drivers (short shaft) out from the diff allowing the axle some lateral movement.
Hint on putting back in, I couldnt for love or money get the long passenger shaft in without it being vertical (not on motor !) so prefit that, lift axle (bit heavy for one, but doable) loose fit the big bolts and slip short shaft in.
I wouldnt consider splitting the bearings/seals and removing shafts in situ or refitting, left the cv reatianer and shafts all attached and did any messing in the garage.
