New Fronty Offer

can anyone help or advise me plz,i have a 1993 L plate 2.3 diesel lwb fronty had no problems with her very happy with her looks better than original as well,now i have been offered a 2.2 petrol lwb on a R plate very tidy from a very good mate who i can trust,for a very good price £900, don't know whether to go for it n see wot i can get for mine or wot,are they a better fronty is the engine better than a diesel obviously not econmicaly better,is the running gear better I JUST DON'T KNOW HHEEEELLLLPP ME PLZ

Personally I'd stick with the devil you know and love...

But it's a matter of whether or not you want a newer car, what it will do for you etc, changing back to Petrol might save you a few pennies at the pump but over the long term will it save anything or cost more?

Both A and B series have their positives and negatives, personally speaking I love the A series and wouldn't want a B series..

Get a picture of both of them from the same angles, front, sides and rear, then sit them side by side and look at them both and see which one YOU want to have and drive and look after

Just be wary of the 2.2 petrol engine,thought I had a good one ,first time off road I managed to kill it
Newer model drives better with the coil springs etc,dash not as clumsy.
If youre happy with the old one then stick with it Better the devil you know

I find the newer better to look at but the older dash more practical

R reg? that whould still be an 'A' serise, B's start from 99-,
