Thankfully Iv picked up a starter and 2 alternators off ebay for the princely sum of £50 including postage. Wouldnt fancy fitting them in a quarry though

The last sand quarry i played in cost me 2 wheel bearings and a gearbox, "Sheepwash" at Westoncoyney. Ouch!!!!!

Yep its wildmoor just off the M5, like someone said 4X4 funday(RIchard Walsh) used to use it(he may still do), very abrasive and sticky sand.Worth one trip, but I won`t go there again, it buggers wheel bearings up etc.Its quite small but has some challenging points.
