Where do I put the spare wheel?

Hi,


Any ideas where to put the spare????



Goodyear Supaterra 38x20x16.1's wont fit on the spare wheel carrier.......



Too bloody heavy to lift onto the roof.......



Wont fit in the back.......



Cant put on bonnet "landy-styley" as will need a periscope as well as the snorkel.......



Cant use runflat aerosoles as would take 20cans to fill it!!.......



Cant use 38-12.50-15 as "space saver" as still wont fit on tailgate,roof or in back......



D'oh!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw that beasty on ebay a while ago

Are those tyres even legal

Buy a ikle narrow spare of the same circumference

Lugging a tyre that big around will only cripple performance

The words "support vehicle" spring to mind but I dont s'pose there are many that can get to the same places as the big yellow beasty

I carry a spare on the roof lanning, play days it stays at home and i take the RAC number. Just make sure the call center tell the driver the tyre size as normal straps wont go around.

As for getting it up and down the roof, with practice you can do it solo, with a decent rack. Practice helps, wouldnt want to do it first time in wet/dark as they bounce y'know.
