help newbie questions

hi am a newbie just got me hands on a L reg SPORT its in not bad nick just a few things wrong window wipers seem to stop where ever they want, oil leaking out of filler cap think it maybe cos the oil filter has not change for a long time or ??????????? apart from that every thing else is great, all help appreaciated. burge

A replacement wiper motor from a scrap yard should solve the one issue and an oil and filter change, with a flushing agent, should help with the other.

And clean out all the rubber breather pipes

i no this might seem a daft question but as ive never cleaned pipes out before how do i go about it

No seriously, for the breathers, I find it easier to fetch them off and buy new from a motor factors, just buy a length at that bore, its normally only a couple of quid.
