Economy on The 98 > 2.2 Petrol and 2.2 DesielHi All, Can I have the MPG from the owners of the above vehicles, I am considering buying a newer version of the Fronty but wanted to know is it worth say paying the extra £ 500 on a desiel vehicle.I am also now considering buying a Pajero as I saw a K reg Pajero a couple of days ago, it was immaculate and you would never have thought it was K reg. Re: Economy on The 98 > 2.2 Petrol and 2.2 DesielOwner of a 95' 2.2 petrol. I had a VX reconditioned engine fitted 2 years ago and rarely get less then 400 miles to a full tank unless Im doing a lot of stop/start city driving. So averaging between 23 and 27 MPG. I just replaced the Lambda sensor though and Im expecting to see a little more on top of that. Cant speak for the diesels though.
Re: Economy on The 98 > 2.2 Petrol and 2.2 DesielMy '98 2.2 petrol LWB does about same as sir doris's so apears to be the norm @ 100 miles to £20
Re: Economy on The 98 > 2.2 Petrol and 2.2 DesielYes, it absolutely is.
I have the 2.2 Dti and the wife has the 2.2 petrol. The diesel is way more economical than the petrol version (38-40 mpg v 25mpg) You'll recover the extra cost in no time.. V6 Isuzu Vehicross
Re: Economy on The 98 > 2.2 Petrol and 2.2 Desielgetting about 35mpg from Angelina

Less weight then the lwb. I still wouldnt have thought it would be nearly 10mpg more then the LWB tho.
