Postby colin all on Thu Mar 06, 2008 6:17 pm

Hi
Have located diagnostic plug (thanks to forum) but not sure about which wires to short it is a 16 pin plug but does not resemble plugs on the "A" series info (topbuzz) wires 5 & 6 do not appear to be the ones on my plug because management light does not flash. :?

Info would be much appreciated

Look here for code readers and software.

Drop them an email with year and engine etc and they will tell you which one you need.

The software is good unlike the foreign software on ebay.

No probs - it will talk to yours!

Not sure what it is like on pre OBD-II stuff though.

The 3.2 use some weird protocol that not all the readers will work with - I borrowed a Tech2 from a mechanic and it couldn't read the fuel trims on mine, but the ELM327 will. Needed the fuel trim info for fine tuning the LPG.

On that point, I am after the dongle for the Zavoli Alisei N software so that I can get access to the detailed LPG map for some minor adjustments - the 3.2 seems to be really sensitive below 2000rpm to anything more than 10% out on mixture.

I got a code reader off ebay a while back and it was a waste of money - it wouldn't talk to the ISUZU ECU and the software was junk.

Anyone in the East Lancs area needs a code reading PM me!
