fording - green laning general qustions noob!been looking thru the pics on the site, and see some frontys tackling deep water, i obviouslyu know the reason for the snorcle, but, my main question is, how does the water affect the car in general, ie, electrics, water getting into the cabin area, and also do you have trouble with water washing grease from bearings etc and them running dry?

Re: fording - green laning general qustions noob!Water in the cab... you go deep it gets wet
![]() Rather than a snorkel, Ive done this ![]() And mines a diesel so elextrics aint a big problem, but on any electrical item give it a good dousing of silicone spray and all should be fine. Regual greasing of the bearings and Prop shafts are a must do if you go in mud and water. Also check your brakes regularly ![]() Ste
